Do you remember the last time you went to a library? My last time was last year because I was waiting for my new MyKad to be processed and the library next to the NPR became the most comfortable place to work. But many people no longer go to the library because e-books are becoming easier to buy. For those who still want to borrow books from the National Library, you can now do so without having to go to the library in person.
Quickbook2U@PNM was launched yesterday, not only allowing you to borrow books from the National Library online, but also having these books delivered to your home. This is in line with the focus on facilitating people's affairs, cultivating knowledge, providing wider access to reading materials and library facilities.
In addition, the QuickKarel system was also introduced to facilitate online library space rental by offering a faster, more systematic and efficient process.
Although both of these systems were announced by Aaron Ago Dagang, Minister of the Ministry of National Unity yesterday, we still cannot find this feature activated on the National Library website today.
