The latest Nubia Neo 5 and Nubia Neo GT 5G devices are now available in the Malaysian market. Both models come in several variants with different configurations and each comes with Nubia Care+, which is a 1+1 year screen protection through the Screen Damage Protection program.
Nubia Neo 5 GT 5G
The Nubia Neo 5 GT 5G is equipped with a built-in cooling fan (the first in its class) and 550Hz Neo Triggers 5.0 for professional-level control. The device is paired with a 6.8″ AMOLED screen with a 1.5K resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chip with a NeoTurbo engine that ensures stable frame rates when playing games. In addition, it also packs a 6210mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Nubia Neo 5 GT offers a 50MP AI Triple rear camera system and a 16MP front camera, in addition to built-in AI functions such as Scam Alert, AI Translate and AI Image/Text Generation for daily use. Other features that complement this device include the DTS:X Ultra Stereo audio system, X-axis linear motor, flat back design without camera bump and RGB lighting on the fan that adds a distinctive style to this device.
Nubia Neo 5 5G
Meanwhile, the Nubia Neo 5 5G is equipped with a 6.8″ screen with a resolution of 1940×900 pixels, with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1000 nits. This device is matched with a Unisoc T9300 chip with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage in addition to running the MyOS 16 operating system based on Android 16.
In terms of camera capabilities, it offers a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP sensor while the selfie camera comes with a resolution of 16MP. In terms of battery, this device is equipped with a capacity of 6050mAh which supports 45W fast charging.
For those interested, the Nubia Neo 5 5G is offered in the Malaysian market at a price of RM1,299 for the model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and an early promotion at a price of RM1,199. Meanwhile, the Nubia Neo 5 GT comes with two options, namely the 12GB RAM model with 256GB storage at a price of RM1,799 and the 12GB RAM model with 512GB storage at a price of RM1,999.
