Xiaomi has introduced a new tablet in Malaysia through the Redmi Pad 2 9.7“ model. It is offered in two variants, namely WiFi and 4G, thus providing easier choices for users. This tablet also comes with various improvements compared to the previous generation including a larger display, a high-capacity battery and a thinner design.
As the name suggests, it features a 9.7” screen with 2K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and a 16:10 aspect ratio. This device is paired with a Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 chip with a memory option of 4GB RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. It also comes with the Xiaomi HyperOS 3 operating system straight out of the box which offers more customization of new features for the latest experience.
At the same time, it is supplied with a 7600mAh battery with 18W charging. Other specifications include an 8MP main camera, a 5MP selfie camera, a 3.5mm audio jack, and stereo speakers with Hi-Res certification.
For those interested, this tablet is sold in Malaysia at different prices depending on the variant. The WiFi model is offered at RM569 for the 4GB+64GB variant, while the 4GB+128GB version is priced at RM599 with both coming with a free case. In addition, the 4G model is sold at RM649 for the 4GB+64GB while the 4GB+128GB variant is priced at RM699. Just like the WiFi model, every purchase also comes with a free tablet case.
