The Samsung Galaxy Glasses smart glasses design has finally been leaked via Android Headlines this morning. The leaked glasses use the Jinju development code that will be launched this year and have many similarities to the Ray-Ban Meta.
The Jinju looks like a regular smart glasses without a screen built into the lens. It is equipped with a camera, speaker and artificial intelligence (AI) system support from the Android XR operating system. In the Android Headlines report, the Jinju is said to use a Snapdragon AR1 chip, come with a 12MP Sony IMX681 camera, a 155 mAh battery, weigh around 50 grams and lenses that turn dark when exposed to light.
The frame design is through Samsung's collaboration with Warby Parker and Gentle Monster. When launched, the Jinju will be sold at a starting price of around $380 (~RM 1500) per pair.
Then in 2027, the Haean smart glasses will be launched with a micro-LED display built into the lens and will be sold at a starting price of around $600 (~RM 2372) per pair.
It is believed that the Samsung Galaxy Glasses Jinju smart glasses will be launched at the Samsung Unpacked event next September along with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8, Z Fold8 and Z Fold8 Wide.
