According to Spotify, nearly 70% of Premium users exercise every month with over 150 million active fitness playlists worldwide. Seeing this potential as something exciting, they are now introducing a new category, Fitness Hub, which focuses on fitness.
It is offered to Premium users in select markets who will get access to over 1400 ad-free classes covering yoga, cardio, meditation, running and more. In addition, Spotify provides content from famous creators, thus expanding the options that users can try.
The feature is also designed to be used on a variety of devices, thus allowing users to start a workout video on the TV, connect the audio on the phone and finish the recovery session on the speaker. Classes are offered in various languages, especially English while some other options are available in Spanish and German and can be downloaded for offline access.
Premium users in select markets can easily access this feature by opening the Spotify app first. Then, they just need to search for the keyword “Fitness” to open Fitness Hub or find it through the “Browse all” section. From there, users can access curated classes and playlists to find workout sessions that suit their goals.
