Through the operating system update using the 26 series last year, Apple standardized the interface of all their device interfaces with the introduction of Liquid Glass. On iPhones and iPads, this interface was well received. But on macOS computers, Liquid Glass brought several issues such as unclear interface elements.
This morning Mark Gurman at Bloomberg reported that Apple will resolve the Liquid Glass issue with macOS 27 which has been developed. The main agenda is to fix issues involving transparent elements and shadows that are an issue among macOS users.
In addition, Safari will also be updated with a tab feature that is automatically grouped with the help of artificial intelligence (AI). This Organize Tab feature will be received by Safari on macOS 27, iOS 27, and iPadOS 27. All new features on the 27 series operating system will be shown at WWDC 2026 which will take place on June 8.
