Android will also enter the era of transparent interfaces like Liquid Glass on Apple devices. This seems to have been confirmed by Google itself through a video shared in conjunction with The Android Show | I/O Edition which will be held on May 12.
This event will take place before Google I/O and it will show various new features that will be introduced through the Android 17 update. The Android mascot The Bot changes color from green to transparent in the shared video.
Android 17 has already undergone three rounds of Beta testing and is now getting closer to being officially launched at Google I/O. So far, among the things that have been revealed are support for the Tap Share function like on the iPhone, control of RAM usage by applications, remapping of the home control buttons and becoming a more responsive operating system.
