If you are looking for a powerful gaming laptop series, MSI Malaysia has today opened pre-orders for two of their gaming laptop series that come with the latest and most powerful internal components. These laptops are the MSI Raider 16 HX and MSI Crosshair 16 Max HX series.
MSI Malaysia will be bringing in two offerings for the MSI Raider 16 Max HX laptop model. Both laptops will come with a 16-inch OLED screen display with a resolution of 2560×1600 with a refresh rate of 240Hz and support for DisplayHDR TrueBlack 1000 display technology and the ability to process 100 DCI-P3 color gamut.
In terms of internal components, the MSI Raider 16 Max HX model will be loaded with a choice of Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus and Intel Core Ultra 7 251HX processing chips, up to 32GB of LPDDR5 memory and up to 2TB of SSD storage. Depending on the configuration, the MSI Raider 16 Max HX will also come with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card with 12GB of GDDR7 memory or an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 with 16GB of GDDR7 memory.
Moving on to the MSI Crosshair 16 Max HX, this laptop comes with an OLED screen display with the same size and resolution, but has a 165Hz refresh rate.
In terms of internal components, the MSI Crosshair 16 Max HX is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus chip with a choice of 16GB of LPDDR5 memory, 1TB SSD storage and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card with 8GB of GDDR7 memory.
Pre-orders for all three laptops are open starting today, May 8, 2026 until May 22, 2026 and purchases during this period will also come with Touch’n’Go credit worth up to RM200, MSI gaming headphones, a one-year subscription to NordVPN software and an additional one-year warranty by MSI.
