Meta is ready to look at various methods to increase their revenue, including experimenting with monthly subscriptions on Facebook and Instagram. Not only that, Meta is now also experimenting with a paid WhatsApp subscription called WhatsApp Plus involving a number of users in Malaysia.
WhatsApp Plus is offered at a subscription price of RM3.50 per month, which includes several additional features for users. Among the offers are access to premium and animated stickers, the ability to customize the design of the WhatsApp application icon, the option to pin more conversations to the home screen, access to exclusive ringtones, and also the ability to improve the chat list on WhatsApp.
