At WWDC earlier this week, Apple showed off several updates to macOS 27 Golden Gate. In addition to better Liquid Glass on Macs, the scrolling down feature in Safari to refresh is seen as preparation for a MacBook with a touch screen.
Digital Chat Station has leaked information that Apple will launch a MacBook with a touch screen later this year. Although the name has yet to be given, it was previously rumored to use the MacBook Ultra name. It would be the top model in line with the naming of the iPhone Ultra with a foldable screen.
The standardization of the MacBook and iPad interfaces done in OS 26 has been previously seen as preparation for the development of a MacBook with a touch screen. It comes at a good time because Microsoft's Surface Ultra, which was announced at Computex two weeks ago, has the same screen.
