Cyberview Sdn Bhd today celebrated 10 high-potential startups at the culmination of the Cyberview Living Lab Accelerator (CLLA) Cohort 21 Demo Day at RekaScape. The event also served as an important platform to open up pilot project opportunities while strengthening strategic partnerships and expanding market access.
Over the course of four months, all startups underwent a comprehensive development program and successfully validated their respective business models. Therefore, Demo Day was the culmination of their journey when they were given the opportunity to present their solutions to key stakeholders. This step paved the way for real-world implementation.
The presentation format at Demo Day stipulated that each participant was given 5 minutes to present their ideas, followed by 5 minutes for Q&A and 2 minutes specifically for Expression of Interest (EOI). To make the event more exciting, a total prize pool of RM8,000 was provided with RM5,000 determined by the jury while RM3,000 was voted on by the audience. The evaluation covers aspects of innovation, feasibility, market potential, implementation effectiveness and impact brought by each startup.
The jury panel at the Demo Day consists of representatives from various organisations including Sidec, Cradle Fund and Malaysia Private Capital Association. Among those involved are Head of Innovation and Industry Development, Technology Hub Development Cyberview Sdn Bhd, Ang Kah Heng, Senior Vice President of Cradle Fund, Juliana Jan and Co-Founder of Ata Plus, Elaine Lockman.
