But this morning Elon Musk's trillionaire status disappeared after SpaceX shares suddenly dropped to around $155 each compared to around $220 a week ago. Now Elon Musk is "only" $951.8 billion (~RM 3.92 trillion). However, his status as the richest individual in the world still remains because the second richest individual in the world, Larry Page, only has a fortune of $283.3B.
To see the scale of Elon Musk's wealth, we can compare it with the list of the 50 richest individuals in Malaysia. The richest individual in Malaysia is Robert Kuak with a price of around $13.6 billion. If the wealth of the 50 richest individuals in Malaysia is combined, it only reaches a value of around $116 billion. Elon Musk is still more than 8 times richer than the country's 50 richest individuals.
