Elon Musk's net worth is now $795 billion after SpaceX's IPO. The owner of Tesla and SpaceX is now on the verge of becoming the world's first trillionaire. After the IPO this morning, SpaceX raised $75 billion, making it the eighth most valuable company with a market value of $1.75 trillion.
Musk is far ahead of his closest competitors Larry Page who "only" has a net worth of $292.7 billion, Sergey Brin ($270B), Jeff Bezos ($251.5B) and Larry Ellison ($230.1B).
Musk has held the status of the world's richest person for a long time, only losing it briefly in September last year when Larry Ellison overtook him. The wealth of the world's five richest individuals is now closely related to technology and artificial intelligence companies.
