Google launched the Gemini 3.5 Live Translate model which provides the ability to translate conversations in real time. It supports over 70 languages and is designed to translate more smoothly, naturally, and in line with the conversation being made.
Gemini 3.5 Live Translate does not wait for the sentence to be completed before translating like previous models. It translates continuously, just a few seconds behind the speaker. This produces smoother audio without awkward pauses when using the language translation application. At the same time, it can also perform tasks in areas with noisy environments.
This makes it the model used for real-time audio streaming needs for voice calls, online classes, live broadcasts, and translating multiple languages in one session.
Among the companies that have tested Gemini 3.5 Live Translate is Grab, which allows voice calls between customers and drivers to be made even if they do not speak the same language.
