The Health Minister is now reminding the public not to refer to artificial intelligence (AI) alone in conducting screening or assessment of a health problem. Instead, any signs of illness or symptoms should be immediately referred to a certified medical practitioner.
As many are aware, with the use of AI-based services, especially chatbots, many people ask them various problems before taking any follow-up steps. However, for health matters, it is not so easy.
The public is also reminded not to make any diagnosis or screening by relying solely on AI. Previously, OpenAI also shared that health-related questions are among the most frequently asked through the ChatGPT service, until they introduced ChatGPT Health earlier this year.
