Earlier this year, HP announced that they would be moving all of their gaming laptop models, consisting of the HP Omen and HP Victus under the HyperX brand, and during HP Malaysia's new product announcement event today, it was confirmed that the new gaming laptop models being brought in will also come with the HyperX branding.
During the HP Elevate 2026 event last week, HP Malaysia showed off their latest gaming laptop offering, the HyperX Omen 15, a gaming laptop that comes with a 15.3-inch IPS screen display at a resolution of 1920×1200 with a refresh rate as high as 165Hz.
This laptop is also powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 240 processor chip with a combination of graphics card options starting from the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050. It is said that GeForce RTX 5060 and GeForce RTX5070 graphics card options will also be offered later. Apart from that, this laptop also comes with 16GB of LPDDR5 memory and 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage that can be upgraded if needed.
The design of the HyperX Omen 15 laptop can be said to be minimalist black with the HyperX logo on the back. The plug options are also not too many, with USB 3.2 Type-A plugs on the left and right sides of the laptop, along with RJ-45 plugs and 3.5mm audio. USB 3.2 Type-C plugs and HDMI 2.1 plugs are also loaded on the back of the laptop.
The HyperX Omen 15 is also loaded with a 70WHr battery that is powerful enough to power this laptop for almost the entire day, and comes with fast charging to 50 percent in just 30 minutes.
To cool the components of this laptop, the Omen Tempest cooling system was introduced which comes with a dual-fan cooling system and hot air flow towards the back to ensure the laptop operates at optimal levels.

HP Malaysia says that the HyperX Omen 15 laptop will be offered in the Malaysian market soon with a starting price of RM5199 for the configuration with AMD Ryzen 5 240, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 graphics card, 16GB LPDDR5 memory and 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.
