The Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra was announced at Computex today with its latest NVIDIA RTX Spark chip. According to Microsoft, it is the most powerful Surface ever produced. It is equipped with a 15″ MiniLED PixelSense Ultra screen with a peak brightness of 2000 nits.
With NVIDIA RTX Spark, this laptop comes with a 20-core NVIDIA Grace CPU, a 128GB NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU with 6,144 CUDA cores that provide AI processing capabilities of up to 1 petaflops and graphics capabilities comparable to the RTX 5070.
It is marketed as a competitor to the MacBook Pro. These high specifications allow the Surface Ultra to run AI models with a size of 120B parameters. At the same time, the included battery can still last all day.
It weighs around 2 kilograms with Platinum and Nightfall color options. In addition, it is also equipped with the largest trackpad ever used on a Surface. It also still comes with a complete I/O of USB-C, USB-A, HDMI, audio jack and memory card reader. The Microsoft Surface Laptop will be officially launched this fall.
