RTX Spark Is NVIDIA’s Latest Processor Chip Platform That Powers All Aspects of Consumer Computing

NVIDIA today launched the RTX Spark series of processor chips, which is a collaboration between NVIDIA, Microsoft, and computer brands to create a comprehensive computing platform that allows users to use massive processing power for a variety of tasks.

RTX Spark is a new computing platform that comes with a combination of NVIDIA’s N1 processor chip, and Microsoft’s Windows 11 for Arm operating system built specifically to support this processor chip. The RTX Spark chip comes with the same 10 GB chip used in the DGX Spark AI development computer, but Jensen Huang, NVIDIA CEO himself has confirmed that this laptop can be used not only for AI system development, but also for gaming purposes, confirming that games such as 007: First Light and Forza Horizon can be played on this computer.

The RTX Spark will come with support for up to 128GB of LPDDR5X memory, and performance comparable to the RTX 5070 graphics card may also be true, especially when it comes to supporting modern games at high resolutions and settings.

Most of the previous leaks only showed information about laptop offerings, but now Jensen Huang, NVIDIA CEO, has confirmed that the RTX Spark design is not limited to laptops, but will also be introduced through desktop computers and even mid-range PCs with the DGX Spark design.

At NVIDIA's event that took place a while ago, various computer designs were shown, but for the initial models to be released, it seems that laptop models will be introduced first before desktop models and so on.

For the initial production, the first brands to introduce RTX Spark laptops include ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface and MSI, with brands such as Acer, Gigabyte and others to follow later.

Other brands such as ASUS, Dell and MSI will show their offerings at the Computex Taipei event. Microsoft is also expected to introduce its RTX Spark offerings next week during the Microsoft Build event.

NVIDIA seems to have already leaked information about the latest Surface laptop model, which is expected to be Microsoft's most powerful Surface device model to date.
