The OnePlus 15 has become yet another Android device to support AirDrop via Quick Share. The update was received by users in India a few days ago. The OnePlus 15 joins the Xiaomi 17T Pro series, Google Pixel, Samsung Galaxy S26, Samsung Galaxy S25, Z Fold7, Z Flip 7, Oppo Find X9 Ultra, and Vivo X300 Ultra that have received the same feature in recent months.
Last year, the Pixel 10 devices were the first to receive the feature of sending and receiving files to/from Apple devices using AirDrop via Quick Share. With AirDrop support via Quick Share built into all Android devices, cross-platform support is possible without installing additional apps.
Google has confirmed that this feature will be supported on all Android devices by the end of 2026. After this, the issue of not being able to send files due to ecosystem differences will no longer occur.
