GWM has showcased the ORA 5 HEV at the KLIMS 2026 event. This compact urban crossover is powered by the Hi2 smart hybrid system, which combines fuel efficiency and driving performance in one package. The technology is designed to provide a more responsive driving experience without sacrificing fuel economy.
The ORA 5 HEV produces a maximum power of 223 PS and torque of 476 Nm, allowing acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h to be achieved in 7.7 seconds. At the same time, this model offers fuel consumption as low as 4.4L/100 km and a driving range of over 1,100 km. With compact dimensions but spacious cabin space, it is suitable for daily city driving or long-distance travel.
This model has also received various international recognitions. The ORA 5 was named “Design of the Year” at the London Design Awards 2025, and set a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ record for the lowest fuel consumption by a production hybrid SUV in a 3,004 km driving challenge in China.
