The Middle East crisis began when the United States and Israel unilaterally attacked Iran on the pretext that Mehdi Mahdavikia's country of birth would have nuclear weapons. Due to the haste of the United States and Iran, the world economy was severely affected. After almost five months, this crisis will end after the United States and Iran agree to resolve it at the negotiating table.
It is no secret that artificial intelligence (AI) technology is being used by the United States to launch attacks on Iran. There have been several speculations about which AI model was used but there has been no official confirmation from the Pentagon. Last weekend, the Pentagon's top AI official confirmed that Grok was used to launch more than 2,000 missiles at 2,000 targets in Iran in 96 hours.
This information was only revealed after the National Association for the Advancement of Black People (NAACP) sued xAI for allegedly operating 57 gas turbines without permits to generate electricity for the AI data center and polluting black communities in Mississippi.
The Pentagon argues that the xAI data center is critical to national security, including as an emergency power source during armed conflict. Therefore, clearance should be granted to allow the xAI data center to continue operating.
Last week, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei denied that their AI model was used in the attack on a school in Minab that killed 168 people. The use of AI in the battlefield was a taboo issue just five years ago, but now, in the interests of national security, it is widely used. Only Anthropic prevented the use of their AI model by the US military until the company was blacklisted by the Trump administration.
