Proton eMAS 7 Premium Plus Introduced – RM 125K, Larger Battery 450KM WLTP



Every day more and more Proton eMAS are seen on the road, indicating the public's acceptance of electric cars. To date, 11,700 units of Proton eMAS 7 have been sold, while more than 9500 units of Proton eMAS5 have been sold. Today at the KLIMS 2026 event, PRO-NET has introduced the new version of the Proton e.MAS 7 Premium Plus.


The Proton eMAS 7 Premium Plus is the highest specification offered for the eMAS 7 model. It now features a 68 kW battery that provides a range of 450KM WLTP, an improvement over the previous version of 410KM WLTP. To support the larger battery, it is equipped with a 115kW DC charger with a 30-80% charge taking only around 20 minutes.


What further distinguishes the Proton eMAS 7 Premium Plus is that it also brings front seats equipped with a 3-level massage function and specifically for the front passenger there are reclining seats that add comfort. Externally, it looks the same as previous versions.


The Proton eMAS 7 Premium Plus is sold at a price of RM 125,800, and comes with a 6-year unlimited mileage warranty, an 8-year or 160,000 KM warranty on the battery and electrical components, along with 5 years of unlimited data, V2L plug, 7kW wall charger and a trade-in discount worth RM 5,000. For the launch promotion, a discount of RM 7,000 is given for a limited time, and it also includes other versions. The prices after the launch discount are as follows:


Premium Plus: RM 118,800


Premium: RM 112,800


Prime: RM 96,800


With this launch, people now have a longer range option for the Proton eMAS 7 model. If owning an electric car still feels challenging, there is the Proton eMAS 7 PHEV which is a combination of electric and petrol. To date, around 2,300 Proton eMAS 7 PHEVs have been sold, indicating the openness of the local people towards cars with more efficient energy sources.
