Last November, Sony showed off a 27” Gaming Monitor designed specifically to match the PlayStation 5 console and home PC. After half a year, this monitor finally went on sale in the United States and Japan today.
The monitor comes with a 27″ screen with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz VRR for PS5, up to 240Hz for PC and supports the Auto HDR feature. It is optimized to detect input from PS5 and PS5 Pro with settings automatically changed. On the monitor stem, there is a hook to detect DualSense or DualSense Edge when not in use.
It has 2x HDMI 2.1 and 1x DisplayPort 1.4. Also included are 2x USB-A, 1x USB-C, built-in stereo speakers, a 3.5 mm output jack and a VESA mount on the back. The 27” Gaming Monitor is sold for $350 (~RM 1388) each.
