Children are easily exposed to risky content when using social media or smart devices without supervision. Recognizing this need, TuneTalk introduced a new Epik+ Family Safe plan, a family data plan that places special emphasis on children’s safety when surfing the internet.
This plan offers 700GB of data that can be shared for RM80 per month. It can be used by one main line along with one child line and parents can also add up to three additional child lines for RM20 per number. In addition, this plan is also equipped with various additional benefits that provide more value, especially for families with children.
Among the main benefits of this plan is One-Tap Parental Control (worth up to RM30) which allows parents to set websites or applications suitable for children and block inappropriate content such as adult sites or gambling. Through it, Tunetalk also provides content filters at the network level that automatically protect all lines from inappropriate websites.
This filter offers three levels of protection, namely High Protection (the strictest), Medium Protection (moderate) and Low Protection (the loosest). With this option, parents can set the level of filtering according to age, for example, small children are suitable for High Protection while teenagers can use Medium or Low Protection.
In addition, this plan also provides PA Insurance up to RM500,000 as additional protection in the event of an unexpected accident. In addition, customers receive free access to Tune Talk Nova (worth RM30), an astrological lifestyle application as a relaxing bonus for those interested in horoscopes.
Next, customers also get a PandaPro subscription for foodpanda (worth RM6.90) with advantages such as exclusive discounts and special promotions. Meanwhile, the E-Roaming (Beta) facility (worth RM120) allows the use of internet data abroad with support in 13 countries at the moment.
The Epik+ Family Safe plan is offered at a price of RM80 per month. Through this plan, customers receive benefits worth approximately RM287 per month, which is more than RM3,443 per year including all the benefits mentioned earlier. As another option, there is the Epik+ Family plan with 1200GB data quota at RM128 per month.
The difference is that the Family Safe plan is more suitable for families because it has additional safety features for children when surfing the internet, while the Family plan is more suitable for users who want large data without safety features with the convenience of up to five lines being able to be connected.
