Apple Pay can finally be used by CIMB credit card and credit card-i users today after it was promised for a long time. According to CIMB's official website, Apple Pay payments with their credit cards can be made via iPhone, Apple Watch, Mac and iPad devices.
To use Apple Pay, users need to set up their Apple devices by opening the Apple Wallet app > pressing the plus (+) button > selecting Credit Card. Next, follow the on-screen instructions to add a new card.
CIMB joins Hong Leong, AmBank (Mastercard and Visa credit cards), HSBC, Maybank (American Express, Mastercard and Visa credit and debit cards), RHB Bank Berhad (Visa credit and debit cards), Standard Chartered Bank (Mastercard and Visa credit cards) and Wise Payments who have already supported Apple Pay before.
In conjunction with the support activated today, CIMB is offering cashback of up to RM118 if payments are made using Apple Pay.
