Samsung has launched their first credit card, the Samsung Galaxy Card, with a focus on cash rewards for every purchase. This credit card is issued by Barclays US Consumer Bank and uses the Visa network and is open to customers in the United States only at this time. It is offered in the form of a physical premium metal card with a black Samsung logo and also as a virtual card.
Among the benefits given to cardholders are 5% cash rewards for purchases directly with Samsung, 3% cash rewards through Samsung Wallet, 2% for streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+, Spotify, 1% on all other purchases and a 20% Samsung VIP Advantage discount.
The card can be stored in Samsung Wallet along with other cards, digital IDs, passes, and digital keys. The Samsung Knox system is used to ensure the security of cards stored on Samsung devices.
