Earlier this year, public expectations were that NVIDIA would showcase the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Super graphics card series which was supposed to come with a larger memory configuration. However, NVIDIA reportedly delayed or did not launch the graphics card series at all for this series, and the public, or those who build computers, seem to have to wait for the upcoming graphics card series, namely the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 6000.
Recently, there have been rumors that NVIDIA is developing the graphics card series, and waiting for the 3GB GDDR7 memory component to be used on these graphics cards. However, this is still just an industry speculation that cannot be confirmed yet.
However, Seasonic, a leading computer power supply manufacturer brand, has recently started listing three graphics card models under the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Super series, including the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Super, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Super and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Super, listing these models through their power requirements calculator.
Apart from the model names of these graphics cards, they have also revealed the amount of graphics power that will be required to power these graphics cards. For now, these numbers can be seen as current estimates and are not exact figures. For us, this listing is interesting because it provides some evidence that NVIDIA may be introducing this new Super series of graphics cards, and we may hear more details about it later.
