The Smart Selangor and Flexi Parking parking payment systems, which were previously disrupted due to cyber attacks, are fully operational again. This announcement was made by the Subang Jaya City Council via its official social media last night. With the restoration, all supporting applications including Smart Selangor Parking, Flexi Parking, JomParking, Touch ‘n Go eWallet, Setel and others can be used again to make parking payments as usual.
This also means that the technical problems due to the cyber attacks have been fully resolved and users are required to continue paying for parking through the available applications as usual. MBSJ also stressed that users must pay for parking as usual, and if they fail, enforcement action will be taken against vehicles that do not make payments. For further inquiries, users can contact Rantaian Mesra Sdn. Bhd. at 03-5650 0913.
On June 29, the old Smart Selangor and Flexi Parking servers were hacked via a SQL injection attack, causing users to be unable to log in, add balances or contact support. The operating company, Leading Innovative Technologies & Systems (LiTS), immediately shut down the system that same evening and took 72 hours to restore.
Following these efforts, user credit balances were successfully restored on 5 July 2026 and the system was fully operational again. LiTS representatives stressed that no passwords or login information were leaked, and that the incident had been reported to Bank Negara Malaysia and the Royal Malaysian Police.
