OnePlus has officially announced that they will be exiting the US, Canada and Europe markets as part of a global strategy adjustment. No more products will be sold and no new OnePlus products will be launched in North America and Europe before then.
The announcement comes after rumors of a withdrawal from the US and European markets have been circulating since March. At the same time, OnePlus said that they are still committed to offering devices in the Indian market at this time. There are rumors that they will also be exiting the Indian market next year.
OnePlus devices that are eligible for the update after this will receive the ColorOS operating system. If customers do not like the ColorOS interface, they can then go back to OxygenOS but with an earlier version of Android. Security patches will still be provided. Buyers can still get customer support and repair devices in the markets they have withdrawn from.
But the OnePlus US user community page will be closed on August 16, 2026. After this, all community discussions will move to Discord.
