More bad news for OnePlus and Realme brand fans this morning because Bloomberg reported that OnePlus will withdraw from the American and European markets as early as this week as a restructuring measure for Oppo. Then OnePlus will withdraw from markets outside China, including India, in stages by 2027.
In the same report, Realme was also reported to withdraw from the Chinese market in the near future. All these steps are believed to be taken with Oppo being the company's main brand.
In the early stages, OnePlus was launched as a flagship killer device sold at a much more affordable price. But over the past three years, the price of OnePlus' flagship devices can no longer be said to be budget-friendly.
Realme, on the other hand, offers affordable mid-range and entry-level devices before also breaking into the premium device arena through the GT series. Oppo, OnePlus and Realme have not issued an official statement regarding the Bloomberg report. But over the past few months, OnePlus' online stores in America and Europe have shown that the product is out of stock. Meanwhile, there have also been reports that the development of OxygenOS and Realme UI has been stopped.
