Samsung's latest foldable smartphone is scheduled to be launched on July 22, 2026. Many are waiting for more information about it and now WinFuture.de has begun to reveal the initial images of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.
What was revealed through the specifications this time is that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 comes with a 7.6″ main display using a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a resolution of 2448 × 1848 pixels which almost resembles a 4:3 format. Meanwhile, the outer display measures 5.5″ with a resolution of 1972 × 1248 pixels. Samsung also uses a titanium-based folding screen base layer to ensure that the folding effect on the screen is less visible.
In terms of cameras, this device is equipped with two 50 MP sensors, namely the main and ultra-wide cameras, while the selfie camera has a resolution of 10 MP. A 4800 mAh battery is used that supports fast charging up to 45W with an endurance of up to 49 hours. It will also be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of internal storage.
This device is also offered with a weight of around 201 grams and a thickness of only 4.5 mm when opened, while the sales price is expected to start at €1,999 (RM9,334).
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra comes with an 8-inch main display using a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a higher resolution of 2504 × 2256 pixels, while the external display measures 6.5 inches with a resolution of 2520 × 1080 pixels. In terms of cameras, it is equipped with a 200MP main camera, a 10MP telephoto and a new 50MP ultra-wide.
In addition, the device will also be supported by a larger 5000 mAh battery with fast charging up to 45W which can provide endurance of up to 51 hours. It will also be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of internal storage.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra will be offered in Graphite, Cream, Violet Shadow and Green Shadow color options, weighing around 218 grams and measuring just 4.1 mm thick when unfolded. The device is expected to be priced starting at around €2,199 (RM10,266).
