RedBus is now available directly on the Grab app in Malaysia through the Grab Partner App Programme. This new integration allows users to search, compare and book intercity bus tickets as well as regional ferry services directly through the Grab app.
With access to over 200 operators in Malaysia and Singapore, the booking process has become easier as users do not need to download additional apps or create separate logins. In addition, payments can be made easily using GrabPay while collecting GrabCoins for each eligible transaction.
Through this collaboration, users can also plan domestic trips, international Malaysia-Singapore routes and ferry trips between Malaysia and Indonesia all within the same app. This integration thus provides a more comprehensive transportation experience.
To use it, users simply need to open the Grab app, then tap the “More” icon and select “Bus & Ferry”. They will be taken directly to the redBus service without having to download additional apps or create a new registration. As part of the launch, users can enjoy a special promotion with a 50% discount on eligible redBus bookings throughout the promotion period.
