Vivo has launched the new X300 E model in China as an addition to the X300 series with an emphasis on camera capabilities. The device comes with a square-shaped rear camera module, an aluminum frame and a glass back panel that gives it a premium touch.
The device comes with a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen that supports a 144Hz refresh rate. In terms of performance, it is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip based on a 3nm process with an Adreno 829 GPU, which is also paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
The device features a triple-lens system consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX921 main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with OIS. Meanwhile, on the front there is a 50MP camera that supports 4K video recording, making it suitable for high-quality photography and videography.
In addition, it is equipped with a 7,200mAh battery, which is the largest in the X300 series, which is believed to offer longer battery life. It also supports 90W wired fast charging, but does not provide a wireless charging option.
At the same time, this device runs OriginOS 6 (Android 16) software with various additional features such as an in-screen fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers and an X-axis linear motor. It supports NFC, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and an infrared emitter to make it a complete device in terms of modern functions and technology.
The sales price in China starts at CNY 4,799 (~RM 2,895) for the 12GB/256GB variant while the 12GB/512GB is offered at CNY 5,299 (~RM 3,196). At this time, it is still unknown whether this model will be brought to the Malaysian market. However, for users interested in the X300 series, other options such as the X300, X300 Pro, X300 FE and X300 Ultra have already started selling in Malaysia with prices varying depending on the model.
