Recently, there have been many reports regarding the latest series of devices introduced by Google, namely the Googlebook series of laptops and tablets. Recently, there is another new model that has been leaked to the web arena, and it is by Acer.
The Acer Googlebook 14 or known by its code name “Moonstone” seems to come with more premium overall specifications compared to several other brand devices that have been leaked so far. The Acer Googlebook 14 is reported to come with a 14-inch OLED screen display with a 2.8K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Acer Googlebook 14 also seems to be one of the more powerful Googlebook options, where it will be powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra 300 “Panther Lake” processor option. There are two chip models shown so far, including the Intel Core Ultra 5 325 and the Intel Core Ultra 7 355.
In terms of memory and storage configurations, the full options have not been revealed yet, but according to current reports, the Acer Chromebook 14 will come with 16GB of LPDDR5X memory and 256GB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.
What's interesting about the Acer Chromebook 14 is that its listing on the Bluetooth SIG website shows multiple models on offer, so the expectation is that this laptop will come with many different configuration offerings, perhaps in terms of processing chips as well.
Our expectation is that Acer, just like other brands that will offer their own Googlebook options, will introduce Googlebook laptops during the IFA 2026 event that will take place in early September.
