The Vibe Mobile offering, which was first mentioned since May, has finally been officially launched in Malaysia. It was made possible through a strategic partnership with U Mobile, which provides network and technical support to ensure a smoother customer experience. With competitive prices, Vibe Mobile is expected to become a new challenger in the local telecommunications industry.
Currently, Vibe Mobile offers four main plans, namely Vibe17, Vibe27, Vibe37 and Vibe47, with subscription prices ranging from RM17 to RM47 per month. Each plan comes with different amounts of data starting from 20GB to 300GB as well as a specific quota for hotspots ranging from 10GB to 100GB. All of these plans also provide unlimited calls, while the Vibe47 premium plan offers additional advantages by allowing data to be shared with other devices.
In addition to the main plan, Vibe Mobile also introduced additional options under the Vibe On Your Terms category. Among the offers are a daily plan priced at RM3 with 3GB of data, a weekly plan of RM10 with 15GB of data and unlimited calls, and a yearly plan of RM150 that provides 10GB of data along with 60 minutes of calls every month. Users can also top up with RM15 to enjoy unlimited calls throughout the year.
For new users, Vibe Mobile is offering a Starter Pack priced at RM5. This package provides 1GB of high-speed internet along with 100 reward points. It also offers a call rate of RM0.30 per minute and SMS of RM0.15 with a validity period of five days. The Starter Pack is suitable as an initial trial before switching to a monthly plan.
In addition, Vibe Mobile is introducing a Booster Pack to quickly add data. The options available are 10GB at RM10 or 30GB at RM30. Both are suitable for daily use and streaming. Users can also top up with RM15 to enjoy unlimited calls throughout the year.
Vibe Mobile also provides international IDD and SMS calling services. SMS rates are set at RM0.50 to all countries while IDD call rates vary by destination with prices starting from RM0.10 to RM15.80.
Currently, Vibe Mobile only offers prepaid plans, while postpaid plans are still in the planning stages and are labeled as coming soon.
