Twitch is one of the popular streaming platforms, which is used more to focus on streaming video games. Now, Amazon, the owner of the service, announced that they will start using content on Twitch to train their artificial intelligence models.
As many already know, Twitch already has content involving video and audio, which can be used to train AI models – which can then be used for various purposes, including developing to produce avatars that do direct sales for e-commerce.
At the same time, many users criticized Amazon's move, especially when all content is used to train AI by default, and users have to manually opt out if they do not want their content to be trained by AI.
If you use Twitch, and want to choose not to have your content trained by Amazon's AI, you can go to the Channel Settings > Security & Privacy > Training For Generative AI page, and choose to turn off the feature.
