After Being Banned From Johor, Network School Opens in Kazakhstan

The Network School (NS) operation was shut down in Forest City Johor in July after authorities found it was violating several regulations. The closure came after NS was found to have several participants holding Israeli passports and its founder was quoted as saying he wanted to make NS a sovereign country.

After being banned in Malaysia, NS is now opening a new Eid in Kazakhstan. The announcement was made by NS founder Balaji Srinivasan via his social media account this morning. The NS campus has opened in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. Like NS in Forest City, this new campus will be a meeting place for tech nomads who want to live in the same community.

Applications to join Network School Kazakhstan have opened with a starting fee of $900 per month, which includes accommodation, meals, access to recreational facilities and a tech school for startups.
