Astro officially started operations in 1996, and this year they are officially celebrating their 30th anniversary. The service, which started with 20 channels at the beginning, now has around 157 channels, in addition to being offered with access to 13 other video streaming services.
In conjunction with this 30th anniversary, Astro is also coming with a special gift for Astro customers, where all Astro customers will enjoy access to all Astro channels starting from 15 August to 16 September. Not only that, two additional channels are also being offered, namely Astro 30 and Aniplus.
Astro 30 is offered from 15 August to 31 October 2026 which will bring various popular international series, movies, concerts and also popular programs. Meanwhile, Aniplus will be available from 15 August to 31 December 2026 which provides access to anime series from Japan.
Not only that, Astro has now also added 4 more channels for free access for NJOI users, namely Astro Prima, Astro Oasis, Astro AEC and Stadium Astro channels – thus allowing NJOI customers to enjoy up to 26 free channels through the service.
