Lenovo ThinkStation P4 with AMD and NVIDIA Components Launched at a Price of Up to RM116,000

The Lenovo ThinkStation workstation computer series is a desktop computer that comes with powerful components that can be used for various types of industrial tasks such as CAD (Computer Aided Design) design for 3D object processing, high-resolution video editing and processing, scientific and medical research using large data samples and others.

Recently, Lenovo Malaysia seems to have introduced their latest offering in this series, the Lenovo ThinkStation P4 for the local market. This laptop model was technically launched in the middle of this year globally, but was only offered in the local market recently.

This desktop computer comes with a 29.9L frame and is loaded with powerful AMD Ryzen 9000 Pro components, from the AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 9655 to the AMD Ryzen 9 PRO 9965X3D. The use of this motherboard and processor chip means that this computer comes with support for quad-channel memory configurations or four-channel memory, where users can choose from 64GB (4x8GB) to 256GB (4x64GB) DDR4 memory offerings.

This ThinkStation P4 computer can also house a configuration of three M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD storage up to 12TB (3x4TB) and two hard drives in a 2x12TB configuration, giving this computer a storage capacity of 36TB.

One difference shown in the local configuration is the graphics card offering offered. When this computer was announced globally, Lenovo said that it would come with an NVIDIA RTX Pro 6000 graphics card option, but when looking at the local offering, Lenovo Malaysia can only offer an NVIDIA RTX Pro 5000 graphics card option with 72GB of GDDR7 memory.

In the most powerful configuration with all the most powerful components and the largest capacity, which includes an AMD Ryzen PRO 9 9965X3D CPU, three 4TB PCIe 4.0 SSDs, two 12TB hard drives and an NVIDIA RTX Pro 5000 graphics card with 72GB of GDDR7 memory, the total cost of this configuration is shown at around RM116,000.

If you or your company is interested in getting this computer, you can head over to the Lenovo Malaysia website to build your own configuration now.
