Last year, camera innovation was the use of additional lenses and DSLR lens support via adapters. Now, the innovation in smartphone cameras is a detachable action camera as seen on the RugOne Xsnap 7 Pro.
The RugOne Xsnap 7 Pro was launched at IFA Berlin yesterday with a cube-shaped action camera that can be removed from the phone body. It can record 2.7K video at 30fps, has 64GB of built-in storage, and the battery lasts up to 40 minutes. The connection is done wirelessly using a special app. It attaches magnetically when not in use, and is waterproof up to a depth of 5 meters.
This device comes with a 6.67″ 120Hz screen, powered by the Dimensity 8400 chip, a 50MP main camera, a 64MP night vision camera equipped with an IR emitter, and IP69K durability. This rugged phone will be raising funds through the crowdfunding site Kickstarter and will be sold for €799 (~RM 3755) in Classic Black and Sand Dune colors.
