Completely bezel-less phones often raise questions about their design. Tecno has provided the answer with a new concept device on display at IFA this year. Known as the Tecno Bezel-less Phone, it combines several interesting design ideas.
The images on display show Tecno's concept phone with a screen that covers the entire front screen as if it were frameless. Tecno claims that it achieves 0mm bezel. The full edge-to-edge display makes landscape images more immersive. The design is flat and not curved with a small black circle believed to be the selfie camera.
The frame on all sides is designed flat and houses several control buttons, including the power and audio rocker, one of which is red. The bottom houses the USB-C port, SIM slot and speaker. Tecno also only showed the front of the device, while the design of its rear panel has not yet been revealed.
For now, it is still just a concept device that is not sure if it will be marketed as a final product. However, the finishes on display show a design refinement that has the potential to become a new benchmark in the world of smartphones.
