If you missed the chance to pre-order the iPhone Duo last week, you are out of luck—the wait time for Apple’s first foldable phone is now exceptionally long. As of yesterday, orders placed today would not reach the buyer until January 27, 2027. This wait—spanning over three months—applies to all models, regardless of the chosen storage capacity.
This is the longest wait time for a new iPhone model we have seen since Apple began direct online sales in Malaysia. Previously, the longest wait was for the iPhone 18 Pro series, which reached nearly four weeks shortly after its launch a few weeks ago. If an iPhone 18 Pro Max were ordered today, it would arrive between November 4 and November 12, 2026.
Clearly, there is high demand for Cupertino’s first foldable phone. This may explain why production of the iPhone 18 Pro series has reportedly been scaled back; many die-hard Apple fans may be opting for the iPhone Duo instead of the iPhone 18 Pro series this year. Did you manage to pre-order an iPhone Duo in Malaysia? When is your device scheduled to arrive?
