The surprising news came from one of the South Korean variety shows called Master in The House. On June 10, SBS as the production team of Master in the House reported that Cha Eun Woo and Shin Sung Rok decided to leave the show.
As reported by Soompi, the production team said, "Hello, this is the SBS Master in the House production team. Members Shin Sung Rok and Cha Eun Woo who have been with us through ups and downs will be leaving Master in the House after the money episode will air. on June 20."
Further, SBS added, "After careful discussion, the production team decided to respect the decision of both members who want to focus on their main careers. We deeply thank our two brothers, Shin Sung Rok and Cha Eun Woo who always brought laughter to the Masters in The House," the production team said of the two actors' reasons for leaving.
This is not the first time that the Guru in the House has parted ways with its permanent members. Previously, BTOB's Yook Sung Jae, who had been a member of this variety show, had to leave because he was going to serve in the army. Likewise, another member, Lee Sang Yoon, also left the show as he chose to focus on his acting career.
Shin Sung Rok and Cha Eun Woo themselves have joined as members of Master in the Hall since 2020. Shin Sung Rok first appeared in an episode that aired on January 12, 2020, while Cha Eun Woo's first episode aired on May 3, 2020 together with Kim Dong Hyun .
The Master in the House program or also known as All the Butler is a variety show where the members will participate in the daily life of the Masters for two days and one night. Masters in this event are figures from celebrities, athletes, to academics. The show has been airing since December 2017.
After Shin Sung Rok and Cha Eun Woo said their goodbyes, now there are only three members of Master at Home, namely Lee Seung Gi, Yang Se Hyung, and Kim Dong Hyun. There is no further news on whether there will be new members who will replace Shin Sung Rok and Cha Eun Woo.
