Samsung will hold its third Galaxy Unpacked event this year on August 11th. But the event will miss the Galaxy Note which in recent years has been identical to the Galaxy Unpacked in the fall.
The absence of the new Galaxy Note in the Unpacked Galaxy was confirmed directly by the President of Samsung.
The device that will be the main star of course is the Galaxy Z Fold 3. confirmed that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will have a special S Pen stylus for folding handsets.
In addition, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 clamshell folding screen phone will also be announced at the event. The two foldable handsets will offer more durable materials and new multitasking capabilities.
Aside from the new devices, Samsung is also hinting to partner with other companies like Google and Microsoft to enhance multitasking capabilities in its collapsible smartphone ecosystem.
Samsung has partnered with more app partners to take advantage of the fold -out format on folding phones. These include hands -free video calls using Google Duo, watching YouTube videos in ‘Flex’ mode and multitasking on Microsoft Teams.
The collaboration between Samsung and Google will also be showcased in the Wear OS operating system to be run by the Galaxy Watch 4. This smartwatch will be one of the wearable devices showcased in the Galaxy Unpacked this time around, along with the Galaxy Buds 2.
Samsung itself has spread the Galaxy Unpacked invitation a few days ago. The event will be held on August 11 and will be held online.
