Canalys research institute has just released a list of the top 5 HP vendors in the market in Q2 2021. For the first time, Xiaomi is ranked number one.
During April to June 2021, Xiaomi managed to control 28%. The growth rate from the same period of the previous year was impressive, reaching 112%.
Canalys did not reveal the products that made Xiaomi soar to the top position. Our suspicions, the success of the Redmi Note 10 series and the latest Poco phone range make the Lei Jun -made company improve its position.
Going back to the Canalys report, Oppo is in second place with a market share of 20% and an annual growth rate of 2%.
While in third position is Samsung which has a market share of 18%. Samsung recorded a pretty good growth from Q2 2021, an increase of 23%.
Relame’s previous fifth position rose to fourth position in Q2 2021. Their market share was 12% with an annual growth rate of 6%.
Vivo currently ranks fifth with a 12%market share. At least the smartphone variants released make Vivo’s annual growth record -28%.
