Looking at the possibility of Jet Li being muzzled like Vicky Zhao

Jet Li is certainly one of China's most famous megastars. But it could be that he will be one of the next targets by the Chinese government to be suppressed for his accounts and works from the internet, following the beautiful actress Vicky Zhao and several other names.

Jet Li was born Li Lianjie in Beijing 58 years ago. However, he changed his citizenship to the United States in 2003, then moved again to become a Singaporean citizen in 2009.

However, Jet Li still has a lot of work to do in China and is still identical to his country of origin. Well, the Chinese authorities will reportedly muzzle celebrities who hold other nationalities even though they are from China.

Director Zhou Gougang speculates Jet Li will be the next target. "Hurry up and run. Next month, your house will probably collapse," he said.

It is believed that China's National Radio and Television Administration will impose restrictions on celebrities holding foreign citizenship. Apart from Jet Li, several Chinese celebrities have other nationalities, such as Nicholas Tse in Canada and Will Pan in the United States.

One of the points of the Chinese government's raid on celebrities is reportedly a matter of patriotism. From an ideological perspective, the Chinese Communist Party wants celebrities to serve as models to help promote the values of patriotism and love for the government.

The muzzle of Vicky Zhao is probably one of the reasons because he is considered to be worshiping Japan, which is still a sensitive topic in China because of its colonial past. Vicky once sparked controversy for wearing a costume with the Japanese flag.

"Zhao did show that he called himself spiritually Japanese when he wore the Japanese military flag," said a source in China. It is possible that Jet Li will also be the target of online suppression on the grounds of relocating citizens. But so far, it is still a matter of speculation.
