NtechLab, a maker of video analytics technology, announced its presence in the market with FindFace Multi, an innovative tool that can accurately detect faces and silhouettes of people and vehicles in real-time video streaming.
Through intelligent criteria-based face search technology, the system developed by NtechLab can detect and track the "wanted person" in just seconds.
This technology has a high degree of accuracy in tracking people's faces, even when their faces are partially covered by medical masks or clothing. Silhouette recognition allows identification of people based on the color of the clothes and accessories they wear.
While vehicle recognition identifies the body type, color, brand, and model of a car. This technology is able to work well even when the number plate, or certain components of the car are not visible.
"In August, the NtechLab facial recognition system was used by Indian Railways in a major strategic move to improve critical planning and reduce crime rates," said Liana Meliksetyan, Chief Commercial Officer, NtechLab, in the same statement.
"Our system will be deployed in the busiest sections of the Indian Railways and we ensure the technology is capable of recognizing up to 50 people in a single frame. This successfully completed project places India in the list of 30 countries that are already using our technology," he concluded.
