Instagram Tests New Way of Earning Money

Instagram is testing a new feature that makes it easier for content creators and celebrities to make money through its platform. They can also find sponsors that match their content type.

These features are Partnerships Inbox and Affiliate Shops. The Partnerships Inbox feature will make it easier for creators and sponsors to connect with each other so that they can collaborate to make money from content.

Now the Instagram message inbox or (DM) will be separated personally and sponsored. Instagram says this feature will prioritize sponsored messages, and allow sponsors to more easily reach creator content.

That way, the message won't be drowned among messages from fans for example, so creators or celebrities can immediately receive messages from sponsors.

In addition, Instagram is also developing tools to match vendors with users looking for sponsors so that it will make it easier for celebrities or creators to earn money.

With these tools, creators can identify brands they are interested in working with. Meanwhile, brands can search for creators that match their needs based on age, gender and number of followers.

Not only that, Instagram is also testing the Affiliate Shops feature which is an extension of the existing Facebook Shops shopping feature. Through this feature, creators can link to products on Instagram Shopping or Facebook Shops.

Later, creators will earn commission fees when their followers buy products from the store. Currently, the feature is only available to Instagram content creators or celebrities who have the opportunity to take part in testing the feature.

Unfortunately it is not known when these two features will be launched soon, but of course the creators will be very much looking forward to this feature as their new way to add money.
