More Interactive, Spotify Podcasts Have Polls and Q&A Features

The Spotify music streaming service makes podcasts more fun and interactive with polling and Q&A features. These features are already available to all podcasters via the Anchor app.

Podcasters who want to publish and distribute their podcasts using Anchor can add a poll or question and answer feature to their latest episode.

Currently the new Anchor supports adding only one poll and one Q&A to an episode instead of multiple episodes. This feature is available on both Android and iOS platforms.

When the episode airs on Spotify, polls and Q&A will appear at the bottom of the podcast episode page. Listeners can then follow prompts to respond to the poll or question the creator has given.

After users respond to the poll, they'll see the results of the votes other audiences have cast. Meanwhile, answers to questions will be sent personally to the podcaster.

In addition, podcasters can also pin certain responses that can be made public under questions.

It should be noted where the listener's name will be included so that before responding to it, the identity used can be considered.

Previously these features were tested before Spotify finally released it today. During the trial period many creators use the Q&A feature to ask who the next guest will be, feedback on topics they want to cover and more.

This feature is already available on Anchor and Spotify in 160 countries around the world. This figure is not complete in the Spotify market where the total number has reached 178 countries.
