Squid Game's 'Green Light and Red Light' Game is on Fortnite

The popularity of the Netflix film series, Squid Game, has managed to captivate many viewers. Its appeal even comes to gamers.

The embedded 'Green Light, Red Light' game concept has been applied to several video games. One of them, namely visiting the battle royale made by Epic Games, Fortnite.

Even so, the game mechanics presented were not officially presented by the game developer. This is the handiwork of a player named Glitch King, collaborating his imagination with his creativity in Fortnite's Creative Mode.

Here he plays the role of the host, who regulates the course of the game. Players who manage to win the match, are entitled to USD 10 (1,000 v-bucks) .

"We're going to play green light red light. When I say green light, you move. When you say red light, you stop. If anyone moves after I say red light, you die," said King.

Unlike the original version in Squid Game, King only gives a time limit of one minute instead of five minutes. He also found two players who made it to the finish line.

After that, King changed the rules, where both had to fight until one of them lost. The winning title was finally obtained by an account called Glazer.

Actually, the euphoria of the rise of the Squid Game is not only felt by Fortnite players. In fact several games also participate, ranging from Roblox or Animal Crossing.

But unfortunately, the popularity of this film, not only brought a large number of fans. However, it also dragged the lawsuits filed against them.

It is known, the broadband telecommunications company in South Korea sued Netflix. The reason is the large number of followers, causing traffic spikes and downgrading their services.

SK Broadbrand demanded that the online streaming service pay a traffic usage fee, as the popularity gained. This is because other technology companies, such as Amazon, Apple and Facebook, also pay for network usage fees.
